Major Responsibilities

The Department of Agro-Industry shall bear the following obligations:

Formulate policies, planning, programs, projects and measures to develop agro-industrial crops;
Solve all issues related to the development of agro-industrial and food enterprises and prepare the agro-industry policies to direct the investment on production, processing and business;
Participate in conceptual framework establishment and emerge policies to accelerate the agro-industry and food processing enterprises;
Promote and enhance the investment for exportation of processing food and agricultural products; and
Disseminate information on agricultural technology and economics to farmer organizations and their partners involved in industry and business in collaborated with professional public institutions and farmer organizations.
