Major Responsibilities

The Department of Personnel and Human Resource Development shall bear the following obligations:

  • Administrative management of government staff and public agents of the Ministry and coordinate with the Secretariat of Public Functions;
  • Formulate administrative documents and regulation to monitor staff career;
  • Compile staff management statistics and biographic records;
  • Prepare job professional programs and human resources for the Ministry;
  • Prepare and undertake the staff pay rolls and other compensations;
  • Assess the training needs for the staff and arrange all documents for domestic and overseas training and academy enrollment;
  • Formulate the preliminary training policy and continue the relation with Secretariat of Public Functions to implement that policy;
  • Cooperate with Agricultural Technology Institutions and other relevant Departments to participate in the preparation of curriculums and their activities for training programs which are consistent with the needs of the society development;
  • Propose to create or eliminate organizational structures of all institutions and departments and adjust or prepare their functions and duties to adopt the real situation; and
  • Undertake other duties which to be given by the leaders of the Ministry.
