In front of nearly 100 dry season farmers, Mr. Chan Sarun, the Minister of Maff said that what he wants to see and to get is the same as the head of government. He continued that people can not get higher income if they still use a traditional method in farming.The minister and his colleges went there at the last weekend to monitor the faming activity. Based on this monitoring and listening to the farmer’ speech, we identified that people still use old method farming. Through this way they spent a big amount of seeds; the seeds are not purified; more use of chemical fertilizer and agriculture poison. In that area, people use 200 kg/ha.
The minister said that in order to get higher return, farmers must consider on the changing. Reduce the seed used by using the new machine (ឧបករណ៍ព្រោះស្រូវ) that can decrease the amount of seed from 200kg to 70kg. Use ឧបករណ៏អូសកំចាត់ស្មៅ to avoid the (ថ្នាំពុលសម្លាប់ស្មៅ) grass poisoning using. Irrigation should be implemented very often because this soil and ferrous.
