On 23, March, the minister of Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery and Floristries and others specialist department officer have monitored dry season rice and irrigation activities in Samdech Huh Sen 22 and 23 water pumping station and Mettapeap Cambodia and Korea 8 and met 100 family.
In the meeting, the minister requested the farmer change the habit of sow rice seed to transplant rice seedling in order to gain seed and high yield. He asked farmer though about the expenditure and income of farming. The population was increased, but the land size was not so we need to strengthen the abilities of raising on the same land.
The minister advised that in the future this area should created the using seed community that fit to the market. Rice Crop Department and Extension department had to spread out the agriculture technique. They must came to farmer, did not wait for farmer.
We struggled everything to changed farmer livelihood to be better and it was the good result when the farmer live were changed. The minister confirmed that the local was the sources of issue which related to agriculture field and its hungry for solution.
