Book Day at Nhaeng Nhorng Commune

Hundreds of human such as teachers, students, and simple people who are parents and family guardian met each other in area surrounding a Somnab primary school, they looked to hundreds of book and title in Nhaeng Nhorng commune Tramkork district. Among of this meeting, the present of Mr. Chann Sarun, minister of MAFF and his work group officer made the people to understand about the important of preparation that’s call “Book Day”. 2027 books equal to 265 kinds were showed and donated for a rural school.

Amid of these books had 732 books equal to 136 kinds and it costs 1.021.31$ that was the donation of Mr. Chann Sarun, ministry of MAFF and 129 kinds equal to 1295 books, it costs 2.310,10$ that was donated by Mr. Thep Poun and Ms. York Sophorl.

 

What is the most value for this rural school is that changing the school is not only a human resource cultural field but also a library that plenty of book for students and teachers. In fact, book lacking is a real problem that occurred in many schools especially rural schools. Even though, ministry has educated a lot of time but these numbers were not enough with the number of student increasing and their eagerness to read. Therefore, assisting the book is the advantageous.

Minister, Chann Sarun spoke in that chance that beside of willing to join, it could make students, teachers and schools to have books for researching, which is the reason to arrange this Book Day in order to surprise everyone to have a reading book habit. He continued that reading book will improve knowledge. Without reading or more research by books that means knowledge will not be added. He appealed to teachers, students, parents and student guardians to encourage reading book improvement.

Books that were a donation and showed in Book Day which prepared at the last beginning of a week had all kinds of studied level and books which related to agriculture and life skill for students as well.
