Major Responsibilities
The General Directorate of Rubber Plantation shall bear the following duties and obligations:
- Study and prepare the development policies for red/laterite soil and other classified soil where can be planted rubber crop and also monitor the evolution of Cambodia Rubber Sector;
- Set up documentary system and statistical data on rubber sector;
- Conduct research and dissemination of rubber prices and the rubber demand in domestic and international markets to support and encourage the small-scale rubber producers;
- Co-operate with international bodies to promote and develop red soil as well as other soil where could be planted rubber crop; and
- Undertake other duties which to be given by the leaders of the Ministry.
Organization and Supervision
General Directorate of Rubber Plantation shall be leaded by a Director General with accompanied by Deputy Director Generals as his/her assistants. This General Directorate consists of 2 Departments. Each Department shall be leaded by a Director and assisted by a Deputy Director as his/her assistant.
